Are you prepared? For what, you might ask?

In just over seven weeks, Halloween will arrive in the United States. In 11 weeks, Thanksgiving will bless us with its presence. Speaking of presents, Hanukkah arrives in just under 13 weeks and Christmas will rain dearly into our lives in 15 weeks.

Are you prepared? The National Retail Federation documents that U.S. consumers spend around $6.9 billion dollars on Halloween. We spend another $2.9 billion on Thanksgiving, and for Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa we spend a whopping $457 Billion.

So we ask again, are you prepared? We do not want you to take on heavy debt loads during this holiday season, so prepare yourself for some honest talk about saving and gift giving during the holiday season.
