Say NO to DV all day everyday is my slogan. This here topic is very near and dear my heart and it hurts so much to see ladies and guys pass off this act like, "Oh no, it's not a huge deal, he/she loves me so much and I made them mad that's why they hit me!" Are you kidding me????

Last week on the social networks, a post/meme on a girl saying, being hit by her man was no big deal really ticked me off!

We need to take our lives into safety and say NO to DV!!! Join us online on Thursday 10pm

Below, is an excerpt from a blog I wrote a while ago.....

He whips me up by my belt buckle
Pulls me to him forcefully
Nothing sexual about the move
Primal anger in his eyes

Looking him square in the eyes...
I say under my breathe
"You don't want to take it there!"
I knew the blow was coming
Or so I thought...

What say ye to this barbaric act?
