(No) Prophet? (No) Problem.

It is the surest sign that there is, or will be, trouble: a prophet appears. 

Whenever people, especially God's people, run afoul of God's word to their own hurt, or that of someone else, the Lord is kind enough to tell people what they need, but do not wish, to hear, so what's wrong may be made right.

With no less regularity, an obedient man or people do not have many prophets sent to them.  When you do what the Lord says, you have less need of anyone to tell you what God has said.
