 Godni Amir is the Founder, Creative Director and President of A Free Bird Organization, an established non-profit organization based in New York and New Jersey, we serve children nationwide which aims to uplift children battling cancer and other chronic illnesses through the power of therapeutic arts. Godni brings years of experience from theatre, dance and music to help and empower children battling with cancer to use their choice of art as a tool to achieve their artistic dreams. He introduced multiple programs for children struggling with cancer and their adult caregivers providing them access to artistic events, in-hospital tutoring sessions and enables them to turn into mature artists within the New York City creative community.                              A Free Bird’s mission is to uplift children battling cancer and other chronic illnesses through the therapeutic arts. More than 10,000 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer this year. We believe that access to arts education can help children in their battle against this pervasive disease, in which diagnoses are only increasing year over year. At A Free Bird, we see firsthand every day how impactful creative expression can be during the hardest time in a child’s life.
