I Am the Western Woman, Actively 'Saving' the World Part 2

There are probably as many opinions about what 'saving the world' means as there are people on this planet....so where does one begin?? On our most recent show, we had Maryanne MacDonald who is doing her part as an environmentalist.  We've discussed stepping into & living 'ON' purpose as a way to create change on this planet.  There's music & art & politics & so many ways for individuals to express their opinions & passions about 'saving' the world.  And then, there are those who are on the front lines, so to speak....those who chain themselves to fences, lie in front of tanks, bang pots & pans & march & Occupy.  Some might say that it doesn't get more 'active' than the 'activist'.

The guest for our next show, could absolutely be described in this way.  Wendy Goldsmith is a mother, a social worker, a dear friend & passionately devout soldier for all things which support equality & fairness.  She lives on the front lines of political storms & walks her talk in ALL WAYS.  Stay on Wendy's good side, & you'll be invited to porch parties that delight & astound....drop the ball on policy that you've stated you'll uphold & she'll be outside your door banging on a pot to remind you to step back onto the path of integrity. 

Wendy is one woman, among throngs of 1000's, 'actively' doing her part to save the world...I think she's doing the Dalai Lama proud :)
