Lama Surya Das is one of the foremost Western Buddhist meditation teachers and scholars. The Dalai Lama affectionately calls him “the American Lama”. He has spent nearly forty years studying Zen, Vipassana, Yoga, and Tibetan Buddhism with many of the great old masters of Asia, among them, some of the Dalai Lama’s own teachers. He is an authorized lama in the Nyingmapa Tibetan Buddhist order, a leading spokesperson for Buddhism and contemporary spirituality, a translator, poet, meditation teacher, chant master, and spiritual activist.
Lama Surya Das is the author of the international bestselling Awakening trilogy: Awakening the Buddha Within, Awakening to the Sacred and Awakening the Buddhist Heart, as well as the recently released Buddha Standard Time (HarperCollins), and nine other books. In 1991 he established the Dzogchen Centers and Dzogchen Retreats (www.dzogchen.org) and in 1993 he co-founded with the Dalai Lama the Western Buddhist Teachers Network and regularly organizes its International Buddhist Teachers’ Conferences.
Today, Lama Surya Das teaches and lectures around the world, conducting dozens of meditation retreats and workshops each year. He is a regular contributor at Beliefnet.com, Tricycle magazine, and The Huffington Post. Lama Rangbar commenced his spiritual training as a martial artist at the age 18 under the guidance of Suhu Subur Rahardja a holder of the Northern Shao Lin White Crane tradition from Indonesia. Suhu as he was known as by his disciples, also held other native spiritual lineages from Java, Bali and Lombok as well as several hidden esoteric practices from Guru Padmasambhava of Tibet. Lama Rangbar started his training in the martial arts inheriting many animal and deity movement, breathing systems and sparring. He subsequently met His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche in 1981 and studied under His Holiness and several other highly regarded Nyingmapa masters until the present day. Lama moved to Nepal in 1990 where he lived, worked and practiced for around 20 years. Lama holds the Dudjom Tersar lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism, developing his practice over the past 30 years. Lama teaches on several topics from both of his lineages including Anu Yoga and great perfection (Dzog Chen) teachings. In 2004, Lama was recognized by Tsewang Ngodrup Rinpoche from Kham Riwoche Tibet, the activity emanation of Tulku Chimed Yugyal the ritual meditation master of Ogmin Ling Dzogchen Monastery in that same region. Lama is well known for his integration of these sciences into daily life and for his fresh teaching style which is well tailored to modern western audiences, yet solidly based on the unerring authenticity of the ancient school.
Lama has recently returned to the USA in order to establish one of the most critical monumental peace projects of our times, The Maha Bodhivastu and the Universal Heart Support Stupa. This project is a culmination of Lama's experiences and pursuits as it relates to enlightenment for all beings.

Lama Somananda Tantrapa is the holder of the lineage of Qi Dao - Tibetan Shamanic Qigong - that has been fostered in his clan for 27 generations. He has over 30 years of experience in Qi Dao and other internal martial arts. He was primarily trained by his Grandfather who was the last Grandmaster of Qi Dao.
Before immigrating to America, Lama Tantrapa actively participated in peace marches and conferences in the former Soviet Union supporting the peace work of his spiritual mentor and friend Junsei Terasawa who aspired to build a Peace Pagoda in the center of Moscow, Russia. His initiatives dedicated to peace work and spiritual freedom exposed him to persecution in his homeland, that is why he received religious asylum in the United States in 1997.
Lama Tantrapa is the author of several books on Qi Dao, multimedia educational materials, meditation CDs, DVDs, as well as Qi Dao Home Study Courses. Being an avid speaker and presenter, he appeared on many radio and TV programs in the US, Guam and abroad.

Dr. Gunther Weil is an organizational consultant, psychologist, and educator who is also a 40 year veteran student and teacher of Tai Chi and Qigong. As the founder of Value Mentors, LLC, he provides guidance and support to executives and their organizations in the areas of leadership, innovation, team-building, strategic planning and executive wellness. He has served numerous institutions in the U S and Europe in both the public and private sectors for many decades.
Gunther received his doctorate from Harvard University in 1965. Following his graduate studies he was invited to teach at Brandeis University by Dr. Abraham Maslow, the farther of Humanistic Psychology. He served for 10 years as the CEO of Intermedia Recording Corporation and senior VP of Intermedia Systems Corporation; a publicly held media production and consulting firm. His credits include the hit recording, Jet Airliner, by his music publishing company, No Thought Music, which received both gold and platinum status for sales exceeding two million.
Gunther was the founding Chairman of the National Qigong Association, USA. He studied with a number of leading teachers and direct lineage holders in the spiritual traditions of Gurdjieff, Taoism, Buddhism, and Advaita Vedanta, as well as Yang & Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan, Baguazhang and Qigong. He worked closely with Mantak Chia in the 1980’s in introducing the Healing Tao system to the West.
In 2001, he received the personal approval of Eckhart Tolle, author of the best sellers, “The Power of Now” and “A New Earth”, to teach and facilitate the Practice of Presence. His program “Qigong As a Portal to Presence,” is an integration of spiritual work and internal energy practices, introducing students to a direct and immediate embodiment of Presence/Awareness through the portal of Qigong.
