The Nation of Islam Part 2.  The Cross and the Crescent Discussion Group.

Today we will be discussing again the Nation of Islam.  Sunday we started looking at their teaching, the things they believe, and we have one of their members, “Prince Muhammad” come onto the show to explain why they believe the things that they do.

We are going to be inviting Prince Muhammad back to the show so he can continue to explain some of the theological issues that are inherent to NoI.  Namely, if Muhammad was supposed to be the last prophet according too… well… and two other folks come on the scene using his name saying they are prophets, the messiah, the Mahadi, or whatever, how does that make any orthodoxical sense?

I want to also explore why they want to continue the practice of “segregation” when we all saw how that worked out with Plessy vs. Ferguson.  Perhaps Muhammad has forgotten some of this history or is simply unaware of it.
