Down But Not Out - The Nadége Insolente Story

 

By the tender age of 10 months old Nadége Insolente  had lived in two foster homes .  Turning age 7 she began encountering sexual abuse on and off that led to her cutting herself on a frequent basis seeking an outlet from the confusion, pain, and abuse.

 

 

As life progressively got darker, at age 12 she was reluctantly reunited with her biological mother when she really longed desperately for her foster mother. This disappointment steered her down the road to alcohol and drugs as a stronger reprieve from yet even more pain and anxiety.

 

 

It wasn't long before heroin had her in it's  unmerciful grips and called up it's good friend prostitution as a means of supporting the habit. The prostitution was the segway to rapes, beatings, and a hard life on mean streets that were unforgiving to Nadege Insolente.  They had her down, but never out.
