Sexual abuse. It’s probably one of the last subjects we want to discuss with our children—or even think about ourselves—but experts say that it’s essential to teach our children that certain parts of their body are private. Jill Starishevsky is an Assistant District Attorney in New York City, where she has prosecuted hundreds of sex offenders and dedicated her career to seeking justice for victims of child abuse and sex crimes. Is was one case in particular that motivated her to write "My Body Belongs to Me", which allows parents and educators to begin this important dialog with children ages 3-10 in a safe and engaging manner. Join us for vital and informative hour.
