There was an article in the news this week about 2 kindergarten children who where found in the bathroom at school with no clothes on. When asked what they were doing they said "having sex".  But a more important question is, where was the teacher? How were these two children able to be away from the class unnoticed? Was the teacher over whelmed with other children? Was there an assistant in the room? Was the teacher/student ratio met on that day in the classroom?

Low staffing is a very serious issue in pre-schools and this can lead to over crowding in the pre-school classroom.

Join us on Tuesday, March 4, at 8:00 pm...we are going to be talking to pre-school teachers  who will be discussing what it is like to teach and look after children when there is so much going on in the classroom and they may or may not have help.
