The Don S. McClure Show Live- Talents behind the Camera and the Arts. Talking with Patrick  Charles Cinematographer and Director of Photography for Bandit Images Inc. The talents behind the films are so important to making a successful project no matter if it is films and productions for Hollywood or Television networks. These talents bring life to film, singing, and dancing on screen or stage. Most of the time we pay little attention to their names and only talk about the stars, we know and love.  But the Directors, Producers, and writers are the basis of the story we grow up with.  Men like Patrick Charles who's use of the camera as a cinematographer bring a visual understanding of the story we are watching. Men like Franklin J. Schaffner, Director considered one of the most innovative creative minds in the early days of American Network television utilizing a moving camera in the days when most television directors kept the camera static. Or producers like Oscar Micheaux who changed the production images of African Americans in films, who earned a Star on the Hollywood walk of fame. There are many names in the list of talents behind the camera we don't know like Oswald Morris, director of photography or Quentin Tarantino born in Knoxville, Tennessee, And let's not forget Billy Wilder, who production style amazed America with Sunset Boulevard, a film about screenwriter down-on-his-luck Hollywood screenwriter Joe Gillis (William Holden) and a former matinee star Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson), from the silent film era. Yes, the list of talent behind the camera is fascinating when you view their work. Sergei M. Eisenstein, Sergio Leone credited as the inventor of "Spaghetti Western". Victor Fleming, Ridley Scott, Alfred Hitchcock,  Steven Spielberg, Yimou Zhang, Sam Peckinpah, Martin Scorsese, Frank Capra, and Spike Lee. Just to name a few.
Dialog by Renowned American Author Don S. McClure.
