Do You Love Me?

For believers, New Year’s resolutions, consecrations and prayers are about devotion to God. I know that the very essence of this ministry is about love for God. I am referring to Devoted To HIM Global Ministries. Hey, without the love relationship with Him, I would be out of here! The love between God and I, is all I have. It is that for which I live. Sure, I have my family and friends, but when I think about Him, a special twinkle comes in my eye. A bounce comes in my steps and an excitement fills my speech. On busy days, I can’t wait to get home to spend time alone with Him. He truly is the Lover of not only my spirit, but my mind, will and emotions. This is why I know how the disciple John felt, when The One he admired so much asked him the most important question in the world, “Do you love Me?” Wow! How many of us think we could answer that question in a heartbeat? Our emotions are boiling over right now with affection and strong feelings. But, I think it will be interesting to examine how Jesus answered His own question. In this world, Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. But for many Christians, right now is the time we set apart for the spiritual Valentine with our Passionate Lover Who gave His life for us. As we continue on the journey of New Year, New Beginning, Consecration, Fast and Pray. Let’s talk about what Jesus had to say about how He wants us to show our love and devotion for Him.
