Convo with niece who's planning her wedding.

DIY or Wedding Planner?

What is your budget?

Does it include: Venue (church or other), Pastor, Flowers, Music, Service, Reception, Tables, Chairs, Table cloths, Dishes, Silverware, Glasses, Napkins, Food (home made, catered, potluck style, Restaurant, Entertainment (professionals or friends and family), Sound System, Dance Floor,

What is your date, time, accessibility from Airport, Trainstation, Parking, do you have some people who can go pick up your guests?

Wedding Checklist. They all start at 12 Months Before the Wedding then have a count down with things to get done. check them off.

ASK for help from your guests on the list either with letting you borrow things, have them fix food, bring drinks, tables, dishes, invitations, announcements, etc. People who participate in the preparation usually appreciate the event more.

Wedding Planner: let them do most of the work with your input. Less stress on you.

YOU come first, pamper yourself to be relaxed as the guests will pick up on your stress.

There are so many wedding check lists online, choose the one that is best for you. Adjust, eliminate, add, move things around depending on the help you get and what's available.

It's not the things at the wedding that have to be perfect, it is YOU who sets the tone.

Be happy, relaxed, joyful and definitely at peace. Congratulations to your new journey together!

Less stress, better health, less clumsy, avoid spilling/accidents
