In this episode, Michele presents a case, where the parents feel that they are always repeating themselves, talking to the top/side of their child's head, and have to help him at every step of a direction.  Parents are looking for strategies that teach their child how to effectively problem solve and pay attention more frequently.  David and Eric explore strategies that are related to column two of the Face Time Inventory, which is "things you do for your child, that you can do with your child.  By exploring natural family routines, David and Eric extrapollate themes and activities that parents can involve their children in by assigning roles that fit the child's ability. Specifically, they cover the importance of proximity, modeling, eliminating environmental and internal competition, waiting for mindful attention, and solving the age old X and Y problem.
