In this episode of the Best Life-ing, show, meet our newest Best Lifer, Luis while discussing procrastination. We cover the many reasons people  procrastinate and the negative results that  can cause, ways to prevent procrastination, and how time management plays a role in this.

Luis loved his job coaching soccer with younger kids, but felt something was missing, like he had a hole in his soul. He was missing the hunger of leveling up and shooting for the stars. He had kept his growth on life's back burner and didn't realize the importance of making himself a priority. He decided to stop wasting his life and time and pushed himself physically, mentally, and spiritually. He worked out daily, swam, boxed, ran, and did weight training. Losing 70 pounds has created a release, release and opening to other forms of growth. As the customer experience manager, he is committed to evolving and taking others on the journey with him. He hopes to bring his experience working with kids on board with best Life-ing and change young lives for the better.

Emily was always considered the happy girl, the one everyone counted on for a positive vibe. On the outside, it appeared she had it together. But on the inside, Emily struggled with being her authentic self instead of the person others wanted her to be. She often felt depressed, like she was in a hole she couldn’t climb out of. Eventually, she sought the advice of a psychologist who suspected her trouble might stem from a physical disorder. After tests and trips to specialists, it was determined that Emily had a treatable thyroid disease. Now, she draws on that experience to advocate the importance of mental and physical health. She wants people to know that it is okay to seek help. Emily discovered yoga, and it became the way she connected with her body and mind to bring her life in balance. She now teaches yoga to help people find their stillness, strength, and inner peace.
