A little something different!  Capt. Rob McDonald sits down to speak with us a bit about detecting, the work he does with children, teaching others the hobby of detecting and more.  You may know of Capt. Rob from Facebook groups such as the Treasure Masters, Captian Rob's History, and The Ghost Ship Hunters 360.  Rob is quite an interesting and faceted gentleman who is quoted as having more than 30 years in the hobby of metal detecting.  He resides in the Netherlands and enjoys sailing tall ships and working with children while teaching newcomers to the hobby about metal detecting.  Rob actually holds a number of records for various things he has done such as building a Viking ship from approx. 15 million popsicle sticks with the help of many children, a couple of other ships on a bit of a smaller scale, and even a rocking chair record to name just a few of his experiences.  He has also helped to uncover, unearth, and document a number of various finds in the Netherlands including a small once lost village according to Rob.  Rob is quoted as saying he has had a interesting past and has appeared on a few different TV shows.  In all of this he has still found time to work with children and even gets out to work with others metal detecting and even a bit of ghost hunting as well.  We have said before that everyone has a story to tell and everyone brings something to the table...after speaking with Rob for a short time I can tell you he ican certainly tell some good and interesting stories

We may even be going live from the Haunted Forest.  You just never know what will happen around here!  Rob has many interesting stories so let's sit down with him on BEYOND SIGHT AND SOUND and hear a few of his tales and see what the listeners think.  Shall we have him back again?  I'm sure he would be receptive if all goes well.
