Adrien Morot was raised on a heavy dose of Planet Of The Apes, Hammer horror movies and Japanese giant monster flicks. Diligently studying the TV guide on Saturday mornings, circling each horror, science fiction and fantasy movie playing during the upcoming week and managing his schedule around these highly educational breaks. After spending most of his twenties working for some of the biggest names in the industry in Southern California, Adrien came back to Canada with the intention of opening his own studio and cater to the then growing and dynamic film industry of his native countryIn the past fifteen years, Adrien and his crew at Morot FX Studio has been at the forefront of the makeup effects industry and has become one of the top artist in the field. Having collaborated with some of the top directors of today like Darren Aronovsky, Alejandro G. Innaritu, Duncan Jones, Brian Singer or Roland Emmerich, he has worked on over 125 features such as The Revenant, Sicario, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, Noah, 300, all three Night at the Museum movies, the upcoming cinematographic adaptation of the popular video game Warcraft and countless commercials. His work is regularly covered in trade publications worldwide.
