    Guest: Carl Sondrol - Film Composer/ www.collegehumor.com

Film composer Carl Sondrol has scored feature and short films, TV, animations, and is especially active in the world of web video. In the past year a half he has scored 50 short videos (and counting) for one of the largest comedy websites in the world, collegehumor.com. In 2009, he created music for their show on MTV: "The CollegeHumor Show". CollegeHumor's web videos have a tendency to go extremely "viral". One example is a 3d-animated Pixar parody which Carl sound-designed and scored, telling the story of what happens to their beloved lamp after crushing the letter "I". The piece garnered nearly half a million views in under 24 hours and Pixar liked it so much they posted it to their twitter account. Carl was mentioned in the New York Times for producing the music for "Web Site Story", a West Side Story parody (about websites of course... such as Twitter and eHarmony) It was featured on Entertainment Weekly's "Clip du jour", Tech Crunch, and countless other sites. Another notable scoring project is the "Sarah Palin Disney Trailer (Head of Skate)" which brought to life Matt Damon's comparison of Palin's VP bid to a "bad Disney movie". Through these and other videos, Carl's music and sound work has reached millions of people worldwide. www.sondrolmusic.com.
