AARP: A champion for Washington's older adults and their families

     If you are 50 and older, you are likely thinking more and more about topics that will or are affecting your retirement years. They may include subjects such as wellness and healthier living; long term care; retirement security; and consumer safety and protection. AARP is involved in all of this and much more. 

       Cathleen “Cathy” MacCaul will be our guest on Monday, July 27th at 3:30, pm PST.  MacCaul is advocacy director of AARP Washington.  She is a skilled community affairs professional with experience in strategic communications planning, community engagement, public policy and corporate social responsibility programming. She has worked for some of the leading nonprofit organizations including AARP, World Vision and YWCA, addressing global and domestic poverty as well as economic justice issues. Additionally, she worked for Microsoft as part of the Global Corporate Affairs team and developed outreach and communications campaigns to advance digital inclusion to underserved and underrepresented communities around the world and in the United States. Ms. MacCaul, who resides in Woodinville,  is the mother of two teenage girls.
