AARP Misleads Americans on Obamacare with Fred Claridge on The Core Business Show with Tim Jacquet. Fred Claridge is the CEO of Certified Senior Guidance Association. You've heard the ads on the radio and TV from AARP that state the repeal of Obamacare by Mitt Romney would undermine the seniors and American's everywhere regarding their health. A vote for Romney is a vote for the destruction of Medicare and the healthcare industry. If you believe this ad, you are being misled.
AARP is nothing more than an insurance agency. Obamacare forces Americans to purchase insurance therefore the statement is a scare tactic for special interest groups, groups President Obama said should not exist in Washington. In this case AARP is a special interest group looking to benefit from Obamacare as it will help them sell more health and life insurance.
The Core Business Show with Tim Jacquet is broadcast M-F on Blog Talk Radio and syndicated radio stations throughout the country. The Core Businesss Show is sponsored by Apple Capital Group, Inc..

Nancy Lynn Jarvis was a Santa Cruz, California, Realtor for twenty-five years but was having so much fun writing that she let her license lapse in May of 2013.
After earning a BA in behavioral science from San Jose State University, she worked in the advertising department of the San Jose Mercury News. A move to Santa Cruz meant a new job as a librarian and later a stint as the business manager of Shakespeare/Santa Cruz. Nancy's work history reflects her philosophy: people should try something radically different every few years. Writing is her newest adventure.
She put Regan, Tom , and Dave from the Regan McHenry Real Estate Mysteries Series on hiatus to write Mags and the AARP Gang, a comedy/adventure about a group of octogenarian would-be bank robbers, but she missed her characters, so they're back to solve another murder in recently released "The Murder House."

It seems there is a feeling in the market that the novelty around pitch competitions has worn off – that they are not worth the work, overall. New unreleased data from SXSW Interactive (SXSW) is proving this theory wrong in a big way.
At SXSW, startups have secured $1.7B in funding!
Chris Valentine, a leader of SXSW Interactive is in the house today to provide more insight into this and even give tips on how social startups can stand out in the application process.
About Chris Valentine
Event Manager Chris Valentine produces the SXSW Accelerator and SXSW V2Venture, an annual showcase of the web's newest startups and innovations; as well as SXSW Startup Village and SXSW Startup Austin, two programs that bring together and highlights the startup programming for SXSW Interactive Conference. Aside from SXSW, Chris is the Founder and CEO of Adeo InterActive, a full-service event production firm. Chris has produced many other events and /or programs for such clients as AARP, Turner Entertainment, Busby Foundation, Business Investment Growth and Engage Digital Media, to name a few.
