Gail Haynes is an entrepreneur, author, teacher, coach and  a mother. From an early age, Gail Haynes thought about how she could earn money to buy what she wanted. Gail made crafts and sold them, held yard sales, and operated lemonade stands.

At 16, Gail started a company Five Star Ranch, a western trail-riding facility. After graduating from high school and college she expanded the farm and began to offer lessons and clinics. She also opened an on-site store catering to horse people. Today, twenty-six years later, Five Star Ranch is still going strong.

Gail has been a teacher and coach for twenty-four years. She has traveled Canada and the United States teaching seminars. Currently, she runs a Podcast to encourage Money Smart Kids, with fan pages to raise awareness on what kids can do. Her book is entitled, The Lemonade-Stand Millionaire: A Parents’ Guide to Encouraging the Entrepreneurial Spirit in Your Kids.

In today's episode we will be examining the challenges that Gail has experienced and how she overcame them. We will also look at why she chosed entrepreneurship as a way of supporting her livihood: and as a mother, we will explore how she bridged the gap between entrepreneurship and motherhood.
