Warrior Talk Radio with GI Jenn & Lance Taylor is excited to have Mike MacDonald of A Warriors Reintegration and continue our conversation with Jim Dolan of Healer Warrior Initiative.

Mike MacDonald joined the US ARMY in 2008 at 18 years old as Military Police / Enlisted.  In August 2009 he deployed to Iraq till 2010 June. 2010-2011 he conducted law enforcement operations on joint base Lewis Mcchord. 2011-2013 he PSCSed to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii where he conducted more L&E ops as well as predeployment training for afghanistan, never deployed to afghanistan. ETS August 2013. He spent my first year and half out of the army working and doing physical thearpy.  He is now going to school full time working torwards a paramedic degree, while working on a photo series about VETERAN SUIDICE and the VA.  http://awarriorsreintegration.com

Jim Dolan is the Executive Director of the Laurus Foundation and the co-founder of the Healer Warrior Initiative. He serves on the board of scientific and professional advisers for The Institute for Traumatic Stress. He is also the co-chair of the Illinois Joining Forces Behavioral Health Working Group's Complimentary and Alternative Medicine subcommittee. The Laurus Foundation began in 2008 with the mission to advance the lives of individuals with disabilities with a focus on finding modalities that center on the body’s remarkable ability to heal itself. Jim has been working with Dr. Frank Yurasek for the past 2 years on the Healer Warrior Initiative, a self-healthcare training program teaching Veterans to take better care of themselves, their families, and their fellow Veterans.
