The Voice of Change hosts a special on Saturday, July 18th, entitled: My Big Fat "GREEN" Reunion. It's Summertime, and that means baseball, watermelon, picnics and family reunions! Visiting relatives is a lot of fun, but reunions can create TONS of garage, much in the form of disposable plastic plates, cups, and utensils. It's time to rethink single use party supplies, and in this spefcal broadcast, eco geek Rebecca Valentine will talk about her "Big Fat Green Family Reunion" and offer tips on greening any event. The Voice of Change host, Sharon Ann Wikoff, will interview several of Rebecca's relatives at their 25th annual family reunion near Bloonfield, Iowa, to hear their thoughts about greening their celebration. Not all of Rebecca's family members are as passionate about sustainable living as Rebecca is, so there may be some good old-fashioned Midwest controversy coming over the airwaves from some family members.
