How many times have you looked at someone else's success and thought "why them and not me"? With social media making it easy for everyone to share their successes and accolades, it's understandable that some people would benchmark others' seeming success against their own. While many people share their success stories as a form of motivation to help inspire others, some people don't view it that way and it's unfortunate. Often when someone is bothered by another's accomplishments, it's because acknowledging someone else's success shine a big spotlight on where they miss the mark themselves.
