GradsUP 2020

GradsUP 2020 is a commitment, led by Assemblywoman Crystal D. Peoples-Stokes, to ensure that 100% of the Buffalo Public School Class of 2020 graduates from high school. The initiative engages fourth graders in the Buffalo Public School system and supports them through graduation in 2020.

With only 47.7% of Buffalo Public School students graduating from high school, GradsUP 2020 seeks to provide a supportive network to reduce barriers to graduation.

GradsUP 2020 was inspired by the University at Buffalo's UB2020 plan to advance research, educational and employment opportunities, and national efforts to create a knowledge-based economy.
