The J. A. Y. Show - Justice And You -  Focuses on justice and injustice in America, and the people and communities that are affected as a result.

Today: A SUNDOWN TOWN IN ARKANSAS

In the last century, before and during the "civil rights" era, there were towns across America dubbed "sundown towns". A sundown town was a town, city, or neighborhood in the US that was purposely all-white. The term came from signs that were posted stating that people of color had to leave the town by sundown.  That was in the past, or is it.

Tune in and listen to the story of our guest as she tells the story of her family's sundown experience in a small town in Arkansas that's happening now.  Racism is alive and well.
