ABOUT DENISE BOLDS

Denise Bolds is a single black parent of a son, a college junior. She is community activist, parent advocate, public speaker and an author. "Raising Princes to be Kings: the Black Single Mother's Guide to Raising Her Black Son". It is a guide to empower motherhood and build strong relationships between the black mother and son.

Ms. Bolds holds a MS in Social Work from Adelphi University and she is now a PhD. Candidate. She has been a Medical Social Worker for ten years and she is a native New Yorker.
