Maryland Schools Employee Breaks 7-Year-Old Boy's Jaw in Baltimore

Baltimore Schools is under fire again as yet another staff employee from the school district is accused of abusing another Black student. A couple weeks ago a white female teacher was dismissed after lashing out at a classroom of predominantly Black children calling them niggers and reinforcing the stereotype that they would amount to nothing.

In this most recent incident of child abuse, 7-year-old Travon Grayson was hospitalized after being slammed into a wall face first by an aide trying to "restrain him". Grayson has a fractured jaw, two missing teeth and another pushed into his gums.

The unnamed staff member who was reportedly employed as a tutor by Baltimore Curriculum Project, a City Springs Elementary School charter operator, told police that he was attempting to remove the student from class. Grayson was being disruptive according to the tutor and in the process of removing Grayson from the class, he lost his footing shoving Grayson into a wall.
