Tonight on O Ye Drybones we want to help connect your business with people in your community and around USA.. It’s our way of saying thanks for listening and a free way to network your business on the Drybones Connection show and our host for this event is Akila.

The entrepreneurs who call in will have up to 3 minutes to talk about their company and tell us why we should purchase their product and take possible caller's questions about their product. We want to help entrepreneurs and in our reseach black entrepreneurs are having difficulties growing and obtaining small business loan. Although each February, we celebrate Black History Month, an annual recognition of the heritage and contributions of black Americans to the nation and the world. The most prominently celebrated tend to be African-American achievement in the arts, sports, politics, education and civil rights, and rightfully so. But black small business are not benefiting from that accomplishment in our communities today. Most small black business needs more resources, small business loans and guidance to grow.

There are about 8 million minority-owned businesses in the United States, according to a 2012 survey by the Census Bureau. Of these, about 2.5 million are owned by African-Americans. African-American-owned firms account for about 10 percent of the approximately 27 million in totals of U.S businesses. These black-owned firms raked in more than $185 billion in gross receipts and had more than a million people on their payrolls, the Census Bureau reports. This compares to total gross receipts of $1.6 trillion for all minority-owned firms and $33.5 trillion for all U.S. firms.

So please join us and let's have an open dialog about how to promote our business and the resources that are available for small business and most importantly, Let's NETWORK!!!! Please share the invitation. Hotep
