When Dean (Lucas Near-Verbrugghe), a graphic designer in Los Angeles, reconnects with Alex (Aaron Costa Ganis), an ex-boyfriend he hasn’t seen or heard from in 15 years, his life is upended. Over the course of a weekend at a vacation house in the desert, the two men open up old wounds, reveal secrets, and determine whether or not they have a future together. Written and directed by Emmy, Gotham, GLAAD and Independent Spirit Award Nominee Tim Kirkman (Dear Jesse, Loggerheads, The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me) and co-starring Michaela Watkins (Casual, Wet Hot American Summer), Lazy Eye is about roads not taken, unfinished business, and the struggle to adjust to progressive lenses.

Kirkman is represented by Robin Budd of Viewfinder Management.  LAZY EYE is produced by T42 Entertainment which is headed by Kirkman and producer and Human Rights Campaign Award-Winner Todd Shotz (executive producer of Paramount’s Ghost Team One and former development exec on films such as Live Free or Die Hard).  Executive producers are Independent Spirit Award Nominee Gill Holland (Over 100 feature films, including Sweet Land, Hurricane Streets, Flow: For Love of Water), Howard Rosenman ("The Celluloid Closet", "Father of the Bride", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and Leesa Wagner.  LAZY EYE's cinematographer is Emmy Award-winning Gabe Mayhan (All The Birds Have Flown South, Greater) and actor John Ainsworth (Charlie, Proposition 8: Reenactment) is a co-executive producer.  Partial funding for the film is provided by the LGBT film nonprofit More Than Friends Film Funding founded by Jan Miller Corran (exec producer of "I'll See You in My Dreams").
