He was commissioned an officer in the Marine Corps and flew F/A-18s for a few years before finishing his time in the Marines as a flight instructor in Kingsville TX. He moved to Albemarle VA in 2006, where his last kid finished high school. He learned about manufacturing while managing a factory for four years. Now he is studying electronics at PVCC and working at a local electronics production firm. He became involved with the tea party in 2009 and was recently elected president of the Jefferson Area Tea Party.
