ANDREA MEZVINSKY-ACTRESS

Andrea Mezvinsky is an award-winning, nationally acclaimed actress, comedian, and writer. She was crowned 'America's Funniest Mom' on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Andrea just wrapped her TV pilot Open House and opens her new solo show in Los Angeles, Sawed in Half,opening May 6th.

Based in New York, Andrea was named Best of the Boroughs in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and can be seen performing standup at such famous venues as the Broadway Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway, the Comedy Stop in Atlantic City, and the Mohegan Sun, among other venues.

Andrea’s TV and movie credits include The CBS movie Open Admissions; Comedy Shorts on the Bravo Channel; the indie films Gratuitous Sex and Storm up the Sky; and appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Day New York and the HallmarkChannel as ‘America’s Funniest Mom.’

She has also appeared Off-Broadway in the comedy hits Grandma Sylvia’s Funeral, Socks Without Partners and her solo show Sometimes Over the Summer produced at The John Houseman Theatre, the 78th St. Theatre Lab, Don’t Tell Mama and The ManhattanTheatreFestival.
