How do you find compassion?

What is true compassion? This program may not be what you expect - but more than you expect. All great spiritual leaders in history have been described as exhibiting compassion. We are taught these acts of compassion by these spiritual leaders as examples of how we should lead our lives. Are these acts of compassion we are taught true compassion?
