What if there was something that could help people with Parkinson’s. 21 yr. old, psychology student, Alexis Nelson has been inspired by a boxing program in Indiana, that does just that, helps people living with Parkinson’s Disease. She is actually a coach herself and what began with 4 boxers (the Parkinson patients) has grown to a family of 50 with more and more setting up assessments each week. We’ll be speaking with Alexis Nelson today on Tell Me a Story to learn more about the program and how we can actually help them with funding. Here is the link to VOTE for the Rock Steady Boxing program http://www.imcu.com/CustomContent.aspx?Name=imcugivesback%20voting%20poll
