If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen ... or in this case, stay in the kitchen or any other room - just don't go outside. That's been the story in Las Vegas for almost two weeks now with temperatures pegging well into the ridiculous triple digits (one afternoon it was 119!). Besides musing on whether to attempt baking kale chips on the hood of her car, Cathy has been focused lately on heatstroke - dogs and humans and has had some life changes as a result. This WAS the topic of our show on July 2 - but BlogTalkRadio's system crapped out 1/2 way into the episode and the live stream stopped ... Since the heat persists, we're revisiting the topic today... along with some fun looks at the new addition to Cathy's family.
