Modesto looks to prosecute minor drug offenses after DA’s office stops handling them

 Former DA John Goulart is the only attorney in Adam Lindgrens office and his primary function for the city is to prosecute “minor crimes”.  Since DA Birgit Fladager is slowing enforcement, City Councilmen Ridenour, Zoslocki, and attorney Lindgren propose to take up the slack.

DA Goularte lost the prosecution of Mayor Carmen Sabatino and now works for the City.

The county can save money by sending another attorney to the city to do their job.
