According to the shocking statistics, one out of every three women in America has experienced some form of sexual assault. Often it is a case of incest with a family member, a brother, an older cousin, a father or an uncle that the family trusted to be alone with a girl child. Too often it is a tightly held family secret, and the traumatized child is forced to keep quiet while her abuser goes unpunished. This sets up a lifetime of distrust of men for many women. How is this affecting our relationships? Sister Claudette Muhammad, world traveler and Chief of Protocol for Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan, is author of the book Memories. She shares her experiences and insight from her compelling life story.
