Who really turned their back on Russia? Vladimir Putin's swagger over Trump

Talk can be cheap.  Vladimir Putin says he wants to work on deescalation of a nuclear presence through continued agreements.  He would like to work on the INF treaty.  He would like to reestablish an anti terrorist network.  Putin would like Syrians to return home and resolve that regional crisis even though Russia contributed directly in the destruction of that country.  He mentioned border tension btwn Israel/Syria nd the 1974 Separation of Forces agreement.  He stated he would like more bilateral relations between the US/Russia in the scope of expert interventions to guide and coordinate relations.

Trump read off a script.  He said he would downplay politics in exchange for peace.  He mentioned the private meeting was successful and hopes to make progress with the large, pervasive country.  He looks forward to future relations.  He also made poor statements saying the EU is a foe in the same way China is.

Maria Butina was arrested today as part of the Russian scheme.
