On average, when a couple enters into a serious relationship the subject of whether to have children or not will have to be dealt with. Nowadays this situation is not even limited to couples of the opposite sex.

What happens when a couple wants to be together but one person wants to have children but the other does not? It can be a bigger strain when the fact that one party in the relationship has kept the fact they either can't produce children or don't want children a secret. Why would a person do this? Is it worth the long term risk of losing that person?

What happens when the woman in the relationship has secretly been using birth control while the couple is trying to have children?

Should gay couples bring a child up witnessing an unconventional relationship?

Is artificial insemination an option that should be explored?

What about adoption?

Is it selfish to suggest that a woman who has multiple children have her tubes untied?

Should the person in the relationship be declared the winner of this argument and if so why?
