Jim is a co-worker whom you have known for a long time.  At one time your families socialized together, but Jim and his wife have been having some difficulties and social contact has stopped.  Jim has been very quiet at work lately.  Business is very slow and the staff is afraid of layoffs.  You and Jim are having a drink after work and discussing the latest rumors of company downsizing.  He has downed two drinks to your one and is ordering another round.
