Not everyone has a service or product to sell. For some, the ease of a franchise with its built in branding is more appealing.

Justin interviews Mark Siebert, CEO of the iFranchise Group, Inc. which helps start ups and established companies with franchising, and Scott Lehr, VP of Development and Member Services with the International Franchise Association which provides support and educational services for franchises.

Mark Siebert founded the iFranchise Group in 1998 as an organization dedicated to developing long-term relationships with successful franchisor clientele. He is an expert in evaluating companies for franchisability, structuring franchise offerings, and developing franchise programs.

He has personally assisted numerous Fortune 1000 companies and start-up franchisors which include Amoco, Armstrong World Industries, Berlitz, BP Oil, Bridgestone/Firestone, Chevron, Coldwell Banker, Guinness, Hallmark, IBM, John Deere, Lenscrafters, Mobil Oil, National Easter Seals, Ryder Truck Rental, Shell Oil, and Texaco.

Scott Lehr has been with the International Franchise Association since 1990, where he has held a number of positions related to membership, marketing, advertising and international. Currently, he is responsible for the recruitment and retention of franchisor, franchisee and supplier members of the IFA.
