T. J. Scott is a film and television director, screenwriter, producer. He is an award-winning director; known for shows such as Orphan Black, Xena: Warrior Princess, Gotham, Star Trek: Discovery, Longmire, 12 Monkeys, The Strain, and Spartacus.

TJ is directing and executive producing Departure a series about an investigative team that looks into major Transport Incidents, In the first season the team is assemble to investigate the mid air disappearance of a Airliner between New York and London with 250 passengers on board, starring; Academy Award Winner Christopher Plummer, Emmy Award Winner Archie Panjabi, Kris Holden Ried, Dougray Scott, Claire Forlani, Peter Mensah,Shazad Latif,Allan Hawco.
