Carin Cohen, founder of "Chocolate For Change"

Chocolate For Change™ is a New York City based company that creates chocolate bars packaged in unique wrappers. Each Chocolate For Change™ bar is designed with a specific cause, organization or charity in mind. The wrappers display graphics and text that serve to inform others about the cause for which the funds are being raised.
Chocolate For Change™ was founded in New York City in 2004. It was born out of one woman's recipe for combining activism, altruism, and of course, chocolate! 
The mission of Chocolate for Change™ is to educate and raise awareness while also generating funds for issues that are close to our hearts and benefit humanity. Proceeds are donated to a variety of organizations. We are committed to causes that not only require our dollars, but also our attention and dedication to make a positive change in the world around us.

Carin Cohen, founder of Chocolate For Change is a NYC based chocolatier, artist and teacher. When she is not making chocolate she is often teaching art to students of various ages. She is an enthusiastic Pearl Jam fan and concert goer. She also enjoys the local NYC music scene. Carin loves to travel, which includes meeting fellow chocolatiers around the world!  Carin frequently has a camera in hand to capture the world around her.
