MARY STEINBACHER Photography The art of life ! Mary’s background is in news photojournalism. Living in Napa Valley California Mary photographs vineyards, wineries, events both corporate and wedding, and people and families. Images have been published by National Geographic Books, and numerous magazines including Mountains Living, Sunset and Teton Home and stock photos used by many corporations such as Macy’s, Ford, Microsoft, Disney, Orvis, Tommy Hilfiger and Banana Republic. She has also done assignment work for the New York Times. Mary on the photography of Nature and People –“A perfect balance is created with the photography of nature and people. My time in our natural world offers a connection to a deep source of quiet inspiration and with people they share their energy and give of themselves by simply allowing me to photograph their lives as experienced – all the love, joy, playfulness, emotion and realism of life truly lived. Time in nature and time with people – it’s a perfect balance indeed. Some of her artwork will be showcased for the next six months at Chimney Rock. Of those, her most recent pieces include the photos that flourish the pages in Chelsea Prince’s new book, Rock and Vine, a collection of stories that reveals the lives and innovations of next generation changemakers in California’s wine country. Mary will be available for book signing, which a portion of the proceeds will go to non-profit organization Wine to Water. Mary Steinbacher has also been shooting weddings for 14 years. As a wedding photographer Her aim is to take wedding photography to a higher level and give it that extra spark.

Holly Stephey and Lewis Ray Cammarata
Cammarata grew up playing in club bands (started on the Stax/Volt catalog) in Baltimore, MD. At 17 he was afforded the privelege of recording 2 singles on the local Bay Sound label with the 'semi-legendary' George Massenberg producing. In 1974 he relocated to Los Angeles for the express purpose of becoming a rock star.The Zippers (1976 to 1981). This was anti-disco/corporate hair band time in LA. The best description of The Zips is they were kinda the unholy offspring of The Kinks and Cheap Trick . The band released a single on Backdoor Man Records in '78, and a subsequent Ray Manzarek produced 6 song EP on Rhino in '81 just before they imploded.Cammarata used the next 5 years establishing a new career in production and musical prostitution. This afforded him the opportunity to work with new and established artists; playing guitar, doing background vocals, arranging... whatever. From this grew a nice referral list of pro players hired for 'one-shot' parts. The result was a succession of reciprical session work with guys like sax man Cornelius Bumphus, violinist David Green, pianist Mike Garson, and a whole boatload of interesting and 'art-for-art's-sake' musicians.
After a self-imposed 20 year hiatus Cammarata found himself in Phoenix.These days Cammarata performs with partners The New Brothers; a stripped-down, 3 man, guitar/vocal trio. The songs have taken on a new interprative persona live; mostly because, as Cammarata puts it... "The songs are what they are; naked. I expect my bandmates to dress them as the situation demands. Obviously, playing with guys like Charlie (Dickens) and Reggie (Chavez) makes this intuitive.... it's intentional."His music has been described as "An amalgam of gutter-blues, spaghetti-western mastication, and late night innuendo".Tags: Blues Holly Stephey Red Velvet Media Rock n Roll Lewis Ray Cammarata

She and her husband owned an apartment in Paris for six years and now have a house on the Dordogne river in the Bordeaux region.GirlsGuideToParis.com is an all-encompassing online city guide and features over 4,000 pages of fun ideas, services and insider tips for shopping in, dining in and visiting Paris—all tested and personally selected with care by Doni and her team of locally based editors. GG2P has various projects under development, including their recently launched Travel Club, iPhone applications, downloadable walking tours and a weekly radio show. Current projects include Girls’ Guide to Paris the e-book and Girls’ Guide to Paris et Plus e-magazine both to launch this year. Before the travel business overtook her life, she was for a fundraiser, an activist, and a political and not-for-profit consultant. In 2006 Doni encouraged her young friend Whitney Johnson to start Ubuntu Africa and together they conceived of an organization that would help, assist and empower children and young adults who have HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Now, five years later, they have helped to save and extend the lives of hundreds of HIV positive children outside of Cape Town in their after-school care center in the township of Khayletisha. Xany Rudoff is a Los Angeles-based artist who has been working as a professional painter for the past ten years. Trained at one of the most prestigious fine art programs in the country,UCLA, Rudoff has been featured in many notable publications including Vanity Fair Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, The LA Weekly, & most recently, featured in a six page spread in the cutting edge London Art publication, Cock No.7, for their "Dreams" & "Vinyl" themed issues. May 4, 2013 The Ward- Nasse Gallery located in Soho, NYC is proud to present an exhibition of artist Xany Rudoff "Iconic Illuminating Album Cover Paintings" will be Xany's first solo show in New York City. Her current work, the “Icon Series”, features vintage album covers that have been painted and embellished using 24 carat gold leafing Renaissance and Byzantine era techniques to affect the look of religious icon paintings. In these works, Xany explores the idea of the iconic by using found albums such as David Bowie’s, Aladdin Sane” and Led Zeppelin’s, Houses Of The Holy” amongst many others,and applies gold leaf to the album’s surface, followed by extensive burnishing, painting and lacquering techniques in the same time honored tradition of the Old Masters.She transforms the covers into beautiful, luminescent "Icons" that reflect the modern day "worship" of classic albums & musicians of today. The result is a breathtaking series of work that glow with the burnished luster of a church fresco, but are intimate and personal in size and image.
