Jessica Dimmock our guest on the ONE Upper Show with Cristina Walters.
Jessica is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker and a member of VII Photo. In 2010, she was awarded the Award for Best Cinematography at the Hamptons International Film Festival from Kodak for the film Without, directed by Mark Jackson. The film, which she also produced, premiered in New York City at the Museum of Modern Art and garnered significant critical acclaim globally, including at the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the Locarno International Film Festival and the Deauville American Film Festival. Jessica was commissioned by the Grammy Award-winning artist Moby to create the official music video for the song Wait For Me. She also contributed two short films to the MSF campaign, Starved For Attention, which was nominated for an Emmy. Most recently, she worked as a photographer and videographer for the HBO four-part Emmy-nominated documentary series The Weight of the Nation. Jessica published her first monograph, The Ninth Floor, in 2007 and is the recipient of international photography awards including the F Award for Concerned Photography and the Inge Morath Award from Magnum. Her work has been exhibited at solo shows at Foam in Amsterdam, FORMA International Center of Photography in Milan and the Foley Gallery in Chelsea.
