True Freedom Is Found In Christ

We live in a world today that has a twisted view of freedom. And if were not careful some of this faulty thinking can creep into our hearts and minds as well. Sometjmes you hear comments such as, "I can do as I pleased, after all its my body and i can do what I want with it, its not hurting anyone if I take a peak at ography, or lust after sensual images on billboards". Afterall have you ever heard anyone say" I feel great freedom from getting drunk all night and throwing it up the next morning". Its all really a false sense of freedom if we think about it, and sometimes we ourselves have fallen for these lies, hoping that engaging in these things will bring peace, contentment and joy but in the end we find that the very thing we longed for will not let us go so easily.......And we become ensnared. As children of God may we seek to run towards Christ where we will experience true freedom found only in Christ.
