IS THE AFRICAN UNION WORTH ANYTHING?

From the Organization of African Unity (OAU) whose main objective was to rid the continent of Africa of the vestiges of colonization and apatite to the African Union whose main objective was to foster the rapid integration of African countries.We saw our leaders meet time and again in talks. And talk they did till age compelled many of them to quit talking.

And in spite of their many promising words the web site of the African Union itself speaks poorly of what the African Union is made up of. Our leaders are so blind and so backward looking, Africans could live this life wading through an endless sea of many ills because of the sheer ignorance of our leadership.
