When it comes to having children or raising a family such can be both delightful and yet challenging however what is one to do when the relationship is not going well? There are still a few childless marriages and in such cases I have seen invididuals fight over animals and material items. However in many cases there may be children in the home under the age of 18.

The divorce rate appears to be rising in recent years and is becoming a significant social problem. Many studies have showed that the divorce or seperation may have a negative impact on children but there are many different interpretations of the consequences that the divorce or seperation may play in the lives of their children. There is no doubt that children are being affected by the sudden change in their familial environment as well by additional influences that comes along with the divorce process and the visitation or family support process.

It is also well recognized that the divorce process may affect the mental state of the children including the development of behavioral problems, negative self concept, social problems and difficulties in relationships with both parents.

Join myself and my special guest as we discuss what parents can due to assist their children to do what is in the best interest of their children as the adults have made a decision to divorce or separate. The goal is to reduce the frustration, help the parents with their emotions as such may help decrease the frequency of depression, violence, learning and social deterioration and the risk for suicide attempts. We will also discuss the process of Family Mediation, Child Custody, and Divorce Mediation. It is best that the children have two parents. Prayer still works along with forgiveness.
