Linda works with parents, teachers and other professionals to solve feeding problems and promote healthy eating in children. TRAINING & EXPERIENCE Linda Piette is pediatric nutritionist and a licensed and registered dietitian. She has graduate and undergraduate degrees in food and nutrition (MS from Boston University and a BS from University of Rhode Island - Phi Beta Kappa), and a dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Linda has years of experience working in early intervention programs, medical clinics, preschools, private and public schools. WRITING Linda is the author of JUST TWO MORE BITES: Helping Picky Eaters Say Yes to Food (Crown 2006). She began her writing career as a ghost writer for the late Dr. Margaret Ross, former Nutrition Department Chair at Simmons College and President of the American Dietetic Association. Since then she has edited publications and reviewed programs for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health; written consumer publications for a New England supermarket chain and articles for the Family Education Network, Pediatrics for Parents, Journal of the American Dietetic Association, Lawrence Eagle Tribune, and Mother Connection;written and produced a nutrition education videos. She is currently working on a dvd about feeding young children. SPEAKING In addition to providing workshops for parents and teachers, she has been a speaker at the Massachusetts State WIC Conference, the Massachusetts Early Intervention State Conference, American Dietetic Association Pediatric Practice Group (Webinar), Primary Care Topics for Physicians-Harvard Medical School and A View from All Sides Conference (sponsored by the Children’s Trust Fund).
