Coincidence is God's Way of Remaining Anonymous is a celebrity autobiography detailing Gloria Loring's spiritual transformation prompted by a series of extraordinary coincidences. Coincidence helped her raise $1 million for research after her 4 year-old son was diagnosed with diabetes; it arranged for a stranger to send her "Letters from God" during her divorce from actor-writer Alan Thicke; and it led her toward healing the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. This is a book with its own soundtrack: Each chapter begins with a song written out of the experiences and principles presented therein. With these stories and songs, Loring provides insight into how each of us can use coincidence for our own good and the good of those we love. Coincidence is the meaningful (to the individual) coinciding of people, events and circumstances. It is the coinciding of our inner state with outer circumstances. We are the ones who, by recognizing a coincidence, give meaning to what otherwise would have been pure happenstance. To quote Loring spiritual teacher, “If it comes to your attention, it needs your attention.” Some events can be casually regarded as a reflection, a mirror, of our inner state. Some offer new information, new connections, and improved ways of thinking and being. The lesson in this book is that everything, even the most difficult coincidences, has the potential to be beneficial. Whether a coincidence appears at first encounter to be “good” or “bad”, it most likely is showing us something we may need to know or a challenge we may undertake. These events offer us an invitation to move more deeply into life. One Page on Coincidence Is...
